In the late 1930's, George Walls opened a retail-clothing store in Dallas, Texas. Soon after World War II, George began manufacturing his trademark one-piece coverall that became a staple in the United States.

In 1982, Walls recognized the cross-over potential between workwear and hunting/outdoor apparel and the growth opportunity associated with Americas increasing desire for outdoor leisure activities. As a result, the company entered the hunting/outdoor apparel market with its acquisition fo 10X, the premier sporting goods brand.
