Key Industries Workwear has been in business since 1908 making work clothes of the best quality and value. Founders C.A. Lakin and Harry McKey created the Lakin-McKey Manufacturing Company in the Midwest and began making clothing for miners and railroad workers in Kansas. In 1938, the well-known clothier family Oshkosh B Gosh bought Lakin-McKey and called it Key. Its workwear clothing also includes overalls, coveralls and flame-resistant items. The casual apparel line includes jeans, shorts, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts and thermal underwear.
As every parent knows, kids can be extremely hard on their clothing, especially in the knees, so finding a good pair of jeans that’s going to last means you’ll be saving money in the long run and won’t have to spend time patching up rips and holes. It just makes sense to trust a company that made its name constructing garments that can stand up to the toughest of conditions.
And your kid is tougher on his jeans than a miner might be? Then Key will take care of it, as their website says: “If you purchase a KEY product, you can be assured that it will meet your satisfaction. If it does not, we will make it right.”
